Here is as the title says is my first real big piece with Adobe Illustrator. Made about one of my favorite artists Rebecca Sugar. They created the tv show Steven Universe which was a successful cartoon which aired on Cartoon Network.
They are one of my inspirations so thats they are the subject of to do one of my first digital pieces.
The process of this pieces was focused on practicing using the pen tool to create shapes to replicate their features and the highlights/low lights of their face, and to replicate the shape and feel of their hair. Or to use shading to give dimension to their face and hair. This practice was absolutely a vital introduction to using Illustrator and all other adobe apps in the future.
