For this commission the task was to create a logo for an adult neurodiverse support/social group in the area called Neurodiverse Universe.
This logo was likely used for a website, steam account and possibly social media for the group.
I worked closely with the person who outreached the group for the logo. Deciding together what it would look like, what color palette to use and what font to use. This communication was crucial to make sure that I give them my client what they are looking for, and to accurately represent the group and their brand.
The Finished Product
The process was that I created 6 sketches for an idea of the logo, for them to pick one. They first picked number 3 the Saturn logo but changed their mind to pick number 6. I began to work on the new logo accordingly. Vectoring the sketch on Adobe Illustrator using the sketch as a guide.
Then I asked the client what palate they wanted, which I gave them 6 palates to choose from, which I pulled from a palette generator called Coolers. They picked palette number 2 which I colored the logo accordingly.
I also saved the palate to show its CMYK or RGB color codes for convenience in printing.
After picking the palate I asked what font they wanted which I gave 4 to choose from just like the palates. They decided on number 3 that has the font “ Rockfire “ with the font size of 24pt.
Also shrunk it down for instagram and show the logo in black and white
Finally after confirming with them that they like the logo after last minute details. I say that I counted my hours which I charged $20 dollars per hour during the project. The final product was worth $340 dollars after 17 hours of work.
It was even used on the groups newly created steam account.
They enjoyed the logo and agreed that it represents the group and brand as a whole.
This was the biggest commission that I ever made.
