This section is dedicated to presenting a miscellaneous project from app design. This project we were tasked to use the coding language Swift to make a personality quiz. We used apple assets to help create the quiz in a visual lens but coding to make it work behind the scenes. That an answer in the quiz will affect your answer at the end of it.
The 4 answers in this project are the 4 nations from the TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender. : The 4 nations are the Water Tribe. Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and the Air Nomads respectively. These 4 nations each embody something that can relate to the viewer, kind of like the houses in Harry Potter.
These quotes from Uncle Iroh represent the Nations in which the nations could relate to a person:
Water Tribe ” The Water tribe is capable of adapting to many things. They have a deep sense of community and love that holds them together through anything.”
Earth kingdom: “The people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse and strong. They are persistent and enduring.”
Fire Nation: “The people of the Fire Nation have desire and will, and the energy and drive to achieve what they want.”
Air Nomads: “The Air Nomads detached themselves from worldly concerns and found peace and freedom.“
The goal is to take the answers of the quiz and place them in their respective nation beyond what their favorite element is. And to program a personality quiz using coding that is able to work creating the simulator video that is below:
